If you are interested in volunteering with Lyons Fire, it is important to understand the volunteering application process and the different types of volunteering positions available. Choose from wildland only, all-hazard, or auxiliary. No prior experience is required.

Why Lyons Fire?

There are many great benefits as a volunteer with Lyons Fire. All of our volunteers are pension eligible and all volunteering hours will contribute to your pension fund. Additionally, Lyons Fire offers excellent in and out of house training opportunities for volunteers who are interested in expanding their scope of knowledge, or just want to be better responders.
