Lyons Fire is hosting an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program beginning November 4th. The course will prepare students for a career in EMS and to test for the National Registry exam and certification as an EMT. Class times will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., with occasional Saturday hours for skills sessions. The program is taught by career EMS professionals and will include an opportunity for students to ride-along with full-time ALS and BLS units at Lyons Fire.
