LFPD is hosting an EMT Basic program beginning November 4th. The course will prepare students for a career in EMS and to test for the National Registry exam and certification as an EMT. Class times will be Tues/Thurs evenings from 4p to 9p, with occasional Saturday hours for skills sessions. The program is being taught by career EMS professionals and will include an opportunity for students to ride-along with full time ALS and BLS units at Lyons Fire.
